It’s a frequent misunderstanding that having 20/20 vision means having “perfect” vision; rather, it just indicates that you have sharp visual acuity. However, 20/20 vision is not the best you can get. You have 20/15 vision if you can read the letters on the line beneath the 20/20 line without getting closer to the chart. In other words, you can see what an ordinary person can only see from a distance of 15 feet to 20 feet. You could even have 20/10 vision, which would suggest that your vision is twice as clear as someone with 20/20 vision.
